Betty Bandt Manny passed peacefully to her heavenly home on May 7th 2015 in Fort Worth Texas. While Betty was a resident of Houston for almost 50 years, she was born August 14, 1925 in Janesville Wisconsin. Her last years were spent close to family in Lubbock and Fort Worth Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband Ben Manny, siblings Jack Bandt and Mary Hyzer, and parents John and Ruth (Riesenweber) Bandt. She is survived by her brother-in-law William Hyzer, daughter Ruth Manny, and her 3 sons and their spouses, Ben & Cecile, Ted & Carla and Roger & Lea. She is also survived by7 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. A family memorial service will be held Friday morning May 15 in Fort Worth Texas. Graveside services will held in the Milton Lawn Memorial Park, Janesville Wisconsin, on May 16, at 10:00 am. Betty was a truly remarkable person.  She always could see the good in things and was known for her positive outlook. She deeply loved her family and would always make close friends wherever she lived. She helped raise her younger siblings after the untimely death of her mother, and then raised and supported her 4 children after the early death of her husband. She never complained or was a burden to anyone even as her health continued to fail. She will truly be missed and always remembered fondly by all who knew and loved her.
